For the fifth straight game, Notre Dame running back Kyren Williams has played an instrumental role in helping his team to victory thanks to his outstanding rushing ability and strong nose for the end zone. Notre Dame came out on top last Saturday against Navy with a 34-6 win at home. Williams who rushed for two touchdowns against Navy now has eight in his last five games.
Closing out the second half, Notre Dame and Navy were tied 3-3, but after a push up the field by the Irish offense, Notre Dame found themselves in the red zone. With just under three minutes left on the clock, Williams with a goal line rush pushed into the end zone giving the Irish their lead of the game, one they would not relinquish for the rest of the contest.
